WHAT IS A FREELANCE EVENTS MANAGER?

A freelance events manager is someone who is available to work for different companies and on different projects on a flexible as-and-when basis. Your organisation can employ a freelance events manager when you need an extra pair of hands - either in the planning stages, on site at the event, or once the event is over.

A freelance events manager is available on a short- or long-term contract basis either full time or on an hourly/daily basis.


WHAT SORT OF PROJECTS DO YOU WORK ON?

Krisztina has a great deal of experience (see her portfolio for more information) of working on a variety of events. She has been a professional events manager since 2000 and a freelance events manager since 2005, managing exhibitions, conferences and dinners as well as outdoor and social events.


HOW CAN YOU HELP MY PROJECT?

If you are looking for someone to work on an event, chances are that Krisztina can help you. She works on all aspects of the event, from finding venues, managing the delegate bookings, producing marketing campaigns and dealing with technical (lighting, sound, video, power) contractors. Krisztina has a large network of colleagues and contractors with whom she has worked many times. Krisztina is happy to recommend contractors for your event, or work with those that you are already partnered with.


WHY SHOULDN'T I JUST EMPLOY SOMEONE?

Whether you are looking at a short- or long-term project, it can often be more cost effective to hire a freelancer than to employ a member of staff. Krisztina will only cost your organisation when she is working on your project. You don’t have to pay her for holidays or sick days. Nor do you have to provide her with a computer, telephone or pay for her mobile calls. In addition to the daily rate all you have to cover is travel expenses and overnight accommodation, if required.

Krisztina is a qualified events manager, having graduated in BA (Hons) Event Management at the UK Centre for Events Management, Leeds Metropolitan University in 2005.
